Admissions for WilmU Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Graduates of Wilmington University undergraduate and graduate programs may be admitted through the standard admissions process or through our Automatic Admission Program. The Automatic Admission Program is intended for very qualified WilmU students who wish to continue their educational careers at WilmU Law.
Automatic Admissions Program
Graduates of Wilmington University undergraduate and graduate programs are eligible for automatic admission to the school of law if they meet the following requirements.
- have a minimum undergraduate or graduate GPA of 3.0 in their program at WilmU. The undergraduate GPA used is the cross-institutional GPA as calculated by LSAC's Credential Assembly Service.
- have a minimum LSAT of 150 or an average GRE percentile score of 50.
- have no significant character and fitness disclosures on the application.
WilmU alumni and students interested in the automatic admit program must:
- take the LSAT or GRE no later than February of the calendar year they wish to enter law school.
- submit the application and all required materials by April 1st.
Applicants who do not meet the deadlines or minimum GPA and test score requirements may still apply to be considered as part of the regular admission process.
Due to ABA standards related to online courses, WilmU Law cannot enroll more evening students than day students. This may result in some qualified applicants being placed on the waitlist and/or being offered a seat in the 2026 starting class. Applicants interested in the evening program should contact law admissions for more details.
Please review the admissions requirements page for application procedures and document requirements.
