Events for Admitted Students
The best way to experience Wilmu Law is to meet with members of our community. There are opportunities to visit classes, tour the law school and to meet with faculty and deans. Explore currently available opportunities on the Admitted Students Events Page.
Admissions Timeline
Mid-March: Financial aid packages will be sent via email from the Office of Financial Aid to admitted applicants who have filed the FAFSA.
April 15: Deposits are due for applicants accepted prior to March 15th. Instructions will be sent via email.
Mid-June: JDEdge information emailed to students.
Late June: Class schedules will be created by the Office of Academic Affairs.
August 1: Book lists are available; first semester class assignments are posted.
August 11-13: Orientation
August 18: Fall semester classes begin.
Accepting Your Seat
The due date to accept your seat is located in your notification of admission. A $300 deposit is required to accept your seat. Deposits are nonrefundable. Acceptance and payment are made via the myWilmU Portal. Login credentials were sent from the Office of Technology Services shortly after you submitted your application. Directions for accepting your seat and paying the deposit can be found in the How to Make a Deposit document.
Summer Before You Start
We have partnered with AccessLex Institute®, the largest nonprofit organization focusing on access, affordability, and the value of legal education, to bring you JDEdge by AccessLexSM, a fully online asynchronous program, designed specifically for rising 1Ls. Available at no cost to you or our law school, the lessons in JDEdge will provide you with a solid foundation for the critical skills you will need to succeed as a law student.
